Implementation of the building management system of the 8-storey DEXAGON office building in Budapest.

Our assignment:

Our company was commissioned with the implementation of the building monitoring system of the 8-storey DEXAGON office building in Budapest. We were responsible for the design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of a combined engineering power distribution board.
Programming automation stations and Siemens Desigo Insight building monitoring software. The building unit's air conditioning and main power supply systems are controlled by a single building monitoring system . The system is based on 12 interconnected DDC (Direct Digital Control) controllers.
The DDCs are located in the electrical distribution boards (MSR 1-5) that operate the ventilation and other engineering units (cooling, heating, fire and smoke dampers). A distribution board serves several separate systems, with one or more DDCs per system, depending on the number of data points processed. The DDCs are connected to the monitoring controller, which transmits its data to the monitoring computer. All input, output and intermediate data points of the entire system are displayed, set and registered here.

Implementation:

System alarms can be properly managed. The building monitoring system is connected to several independent devices and systems (gas control center, fire control center, CO control center, fire water booster pump, sump pump, oil separator), whose operation it does not influence. The status signals arriving from these systems are displayed on the monitoring computer and the automatic system triggers specific protocols in case of alarms.
