Implementation:
The ventilation of the public areas in the building is provided by 2 air handling units equipped with a heat recovery plate. The fans of the air handling units are driven by a frequency converter. Thanks to variable fan speeds, the amount of ventilated air varies with the air quality. The system is cooled by a liquid cooler fitted in the engine room. The startup of the refrigerator as well as the processing of its malfunctions and defects are handled by the building monitoring.
The heating energy is provided by four condensing boilers, which are also controlled by the building monitoring.
The energy of the cooling and heating system is distributed through 0-10V control valves and Ni1000-based temperature sensors. For the building operator, it is useful to monitor engineering values (including water temperature and air pressure) in real time on this building monitoring computer and, if needed, the operator can intervene in the operation of the system.
The building monitoring system was implemented with a TAC-type DDC system and peripheral elements sold by Schneider Electric.
